Cape is America's privacy-first mobile carrier founded in 2022, building secure telecommunications infrastructure from the ground up. The company recently closed Series C funding in March 2026 and is scaling rapidly to serve consumers, businesses, and government agencies. As a Solutions Architect for Special Operations, you will lead engagements with federal customers, serving as the primary technical and strategic point of contact. You'll own customer relationships from initial engagement through deployment, working boots-on-the-ground to understand mission-critical privacy and security challenges and deploy Cape's technology solutions. Key responsibilities include: owning new customer engagements and deployments; cultivating relationships across organizational hierarchies from ground-level operators to executive leadership; delivering executive presentations to secure buy-in; leading product rollout and integration at customer locations; serving as the on-site technical implementation lead; coordinating cross-functional teams (product, engineering, business development, sales, marketing) to align product direction with customer operational requirements; and making independent decisions on resource allocation and initiative prioritization. You'll need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience, with demonstrable expertise in networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnetting, NAT, routing, switching), network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark), and scripting/automation. Domain experience in cyber operations, privacy, security, or telecommunications is required. Prior enterprise sales experience at early-stage defense-focused companies is strongly preferred. An active U.S. TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory. You must be willing to travel up to 75% and be based in DC or North Carolina (relocation assistance available). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset are essential.
