SmartRent (NYSE: SMRT) is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive project success and customer satisfaction for new product pilots, client feature requests, custom integrations, and implementation support. You will be the technical point person managing client relationships, becoming a recognized expert on the SmartRent product suite, and identifying effective solutions for rental housing operators.
Key responsibilities include managing client relationships for custom integrations and implementations, serving as project manager for customer adoption of new products, analyzing and evaluating client requirements to design solutions, and collaborating with product and engineering teams. You will maintain relationships with existing clients, participate in client meetings to communicate technical solutions, and partner with Account Managers on account expansion and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). The role involves managing a ticketing queue for internal teams, conducting risk assessments, and leading projects with manageable scope or small teams.
You will educate internal and external groups on implementation strategies and best practices, create policies and procedures documentation, and leverage AI tools and prompt engineering as part of your standard workflow—including drafting documentation, accelerating research, and improving client-facing deliverables. You will also champion AI literacy across stakeholders by modeling effective prompting practices and identifying use cases where AI can streamline implementations.
Required qualifications include 5+ years in Solutions Architecture, Technical Account Management, Sales Engineering, or similar roles. You must demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects, interact with C-level clients and key stakeholders, and possess professional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables), experience managing ticketing queues (Jira + Intercom), and CRM experience (Salesforce) are essential.
Preferred qualifications include multi-family housing or PropTech industry experience, previous SaaS or startup company experience, familiarity with SQL and HTML, and understanding of APIs and webhooks.
