Snowflake is seeking a Principal Solution Engineering Enablement Business Partner to serve as the Chief Activation Officer for the Solution Engineering team. This is a strategic, high-impact role embedded within SE leadership, focused on accelerating field capability and tying enablement directly to business outcomes.
You will own the full spectrum of how Solution Engineers learn and perform, from structured onboarding programs to in-the-moment performance support. Your core responsibilities include:
- Partner strategically with SE leadership to diagnose skill gaps tied to business outcomes, prescribe targeted interventions, and measure whether capability actually changed
- Curate and quality-gate enablement content, validating AI outputs for accuracy and audience fit, maintaining a source of truth for theater and product domains, and feeding evidence-based quality signals back to Product and Product Marketing
- Diagnose field needs through multiple signals (Gong, Salesforce, theater-level data analysis, leadership conversations, PM roadmap changes) and classify/prioritize gaps with data
- Design activation experiences by selecting the right modality (hands-on labs, AI skill training, peer learning, coaching nudges) and measuring behavior change, not just completion rates
- Act as connector and translator between Product, Field, Leadership, and learners; manage intake, build targeted technical content, measure field activation, and align to release cadence
- Establish yourself as a key member of SE leadership's extended team
- Scale local enablement initiatives to org-wide capability by capturing what works and packaging it for the broader field
- Collaborate with the Global SE Onboarding team to shape and refine the everboarding program based on segment needs
This role requires technical building skills and the ability to work with emerging AI tools as high-trust collaborators. You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment with an experimental mindset.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 10 years of related experience with focus on enterprise software, solution engineering, and enablement in the data space
- Bachelor's degree
- Exceptional business, technical, and sales acumen
- Deep technical expertise in database OLAP/OLTP, SQL, and/or Python
- Snowflake experience, SnowPro Core, and/or SnowPro Advanced (preferred)
- Data science or Spark experience (preferred)
- Proven experience designing, building, and delivering enablement programs
- Ability to lead through influence
- Ability to establish sponsorship and secure support from diverse internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects while meeting deadlines and producing quality deliverables
- Highly organized with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience working in fast-changing environments requiring strategic thinking, resourcefulness, agility, results-oriented decision-making, and commitment to excellence
