As a Solution Engineer II, you will be the primary technical lead during engagements with prospective and existing merchants. You will work alongside sales teams to qualify, shape, and close new business opportunities while providing technical guidance on high-value deals.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with sales teams on new and existing opportunities
- Creating and presenting product demos
- Conducting technical discovery and architecting solution designs for prospects
- Working with the product team on improvements, initiatives, and feature requests
- Partnering with implementation managers and customer success teams to ensure smooth client onboarding
You will be a consultative problem-solver who loves learning, gets into technical detail, and helps clients accelerate growth through innovative payment solutions.
Requirements:
- Experience as a pre-sales or post-sales solution engineer
- Ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences
- Proficiency with API tools such as Postman and debugging/logging tools
- Experience building integrations with Payment Service Providers
- Deep understanding of how APIs function
- Programming skills in at least one common programming language
- Strong storytelling and communication abilities
