Salary: USD 142,500 - 168,750 / annual
Nexthink, a leader in digital employee experience management software, is seeking a Solution Consultant to join its commercial/small enterprise sales team in Boston. This is an inside sales engineering role supporting 4-6 Client Specialists in a fast-growing SaaS organization.
You will serve as the technical expert for the sales team, working collaboratively with sales, professional services, customer success, and partners to drive technical closes on sales opportunities. Your responsibilities include:
• Provide day-to-day technical support on sales opportunities, including discovery meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and other activities to achieve technical close/win
• Engage with customers and prospects to demonstrate Nexthink solutions, effectively communicating core value propositions and key differentiators
• Demonstrate how the Nexthink platform supports customer initiatives and delivers positive business outcomes
• Partner with the sales team to qualify opportunities and align to Nexthink business outcomes
• Work with multiple customer stakeholders (End User Computing, IT Operations, IT Service Management) to illustrate use cases and value
• Complete technical sections of security questionnaires, RFIs, and RFPs
• Run and facilitate technical validations with prospects, including POCs/POVs
• Participate in webinars and marketing events
• Occasional travel within the US and internationally
The role is based in the Boston office with a hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote per week.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years of experience in a presales or technical consulting role, ideally selling End User Computing SaaS/cloud-based solutions to mid-to-large sized businesses
• Proven track record partnering with a sales organization to meet or exceed assigned revenue goals in a high-velocity, transactional sales motion
• Experience serving as a key technical resource introducing new technology into a new market
• Experience in one or more of: Workplace/End User/Desktop Services management; Digital Experience Monitoring or similar end-user experience functions; Cloud, Windows 10, O365, or migration/release/change-related projects; ITIL framework, Service Lifecycle, or related quality-of-service disciplines; Security, Governance, Risk, or Compliance disciplines
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex solutions environments
• Strong business acumen — able to translate business context into creative, pragmatic solutions
• Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable working independently with minimal guidance, with judgment to know when to escalate
• Tech-savvy, with ability to quickly learn Nexthink's products, services, and business
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with presence to engage business owners and IT leaders
• Team player who thrives on finding solutions in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
