Mixpanel is a leading product intelligence and analytics platform trusted by over 29,000 companies. The Renewals team owns commercial success for the existing customer base, protecting and growing renewable ARR across APAC through a proactive, full-lifecycle approach.
As a Renewals Manager, you will own the commercial success of your assigned book of business, taking a proactive 12-month approach to renewal planning, customer value, stakeholder alignment, and negotiation. You will be accountable for the end-to-end renewal lifecycle, from early strategy and stakeholder mapping through negotiation, execution, and post-renewal success planning, always focused on customer satisfaction, long-term retention, and sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the commercial health of your book of business, maintaining visibility into quarterly and annual targets, risks, and opportunities
- Building and maintaining documented renewal strategies for priority accounts, aligned with Account Executives and Customer Value Architects
- Protecting the commercial baseline by evaluating the long-term impact of pricing, concessions, and contract changes
- Leading commercial negotiations with confidence and discipline, developing value-based pricing strategies and defending Mixpanel's commercial position
- Achieving standard renewal uplift and converting single-year renewals into multi-year commitments
- Maintaining accurate weekly forecasts with disciplined CRM hygiene and no surprises at quarter end
- Building trusted relationships with customer stakeholders well ahead of renewal
- Leading cross-functional renewal motions, coordinating with Customer Value, Account Executives, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, Product, and Marketing
- Owning the commercial position of accounts throughout the lifecycle, ensuring amendments and mid-term negotiations support long-term strategy
- Completing renewals with thorough handovers and post-renewal success plans, contributing insights back to team playbooks
This is a commercial, ownership-driven role at the centre of Mixpanel's customer lifecycle in APAC, ideal for someone who thrives in multi-stakeholder commercial motions, forecasts with discipline, and wants a visible role in building a high-performing renewals function.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in SaaS renewals, account management, or commercial customer-facing roles, with a track record of retaining and growing revenue across a book of business
- Proven ability to own multi-stakeholder commercial motions end-to-end, from early planning through negotiation to contract execution
- Strong commercial instincts and negotiation skills, with ability to develop value-based pricing and packaging strategies and defend commercial positions with senior stakeholders
- Disciplined forecasting and CRM hygiene; ability to catch risk 120+ days out with minimal late surprises
- Value-led mindset; understanding of customer outcomes and ability to build commercial strategy around them
- Confidence working cross-functionally with Account Executives, Customer Success, Deal Desk, Finance, and Legal
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; ability to build trusted relationships with economic buyers, executive sponsors, and champions
- Proactive, ownership-driven approach; ability to articulate where your book will land and what could change that
- Active use of AI tools to work smarter (required, not optional)
- Adaptability, resilience, and genuine curiosity for the product analytics space
BONUS:
- Experience managing renewals or commercial motions across APAC markets with understanding of local buying, procurement, and budget cycles
- Experience structuring multi-year and multi-product commercial agreements
- Familiarity with Salesforce and commercial tooling (Gong, Statisfy, etc.)
- Experience with Mixpanel or other product analytics tools
- Multilingual capabilities relevant to APAC region
- Background in analytics, data, martech, or developer tools ecosystems
- Experience in high-growth SaaS environments (Series B–E or beyond)
