Neo4j is seeking a Solution Architect - Onboarding to support enterprise customers during their early adoption journey. You will bridge the gap between contract signature and production-ready deployment, serving as a trusted technical advisor guiding customers through critical infrastructure milestones including cloud provisioning, security hardening, networking, data modeling, and application integration.
You will shape tailored onboarding blueprints, orchestrate complex delivery workstreams, and ensure predictable, accelerated time-to-value. For fully managed AuraDB cloud customers, you will leverage automation to optimize data modeling, enterprise connectivity, and application health. For self-managed environments, you will apply Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and platform engineering practices to deliver secure, resilient graph clusters across hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
Key responsibilities include driving customer value by translating complex business requirements into tailored technical solutions; leading technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers to align on success criteria, KPIs, and risk mitigation; guiding instantiation of Neo4j AuraDB environments or self-managed clusters across AWS, Azure, and GCP with secure network architectures; implementing baseline system hardening, TLS/SSL termination, encryption-at-rest protocols, and enterprise SSO/RBAC configurations; and architecting robust data ingestion pipelines.
Minimum qualifications: 7+ years in customer-facing technical roles (Solution Architect, Solution Engineer, Onboarding Engineering, Customer Success Engineering, or Technical Consulting); hands-on production experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP); deep technical proficiency in networking infrastructure (VPC/VNet, routing, peering, PrivateLink); hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases; Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Preferred: ETL/CDC platform experience; Enterprise IAM implementation (SSO, RBAC); Linux administration, containerization, orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes); graph database experience (ideally Neo4j); modern observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch, Splunk); cloud compliance frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
