Salary: USD 150,000 - 187,500 / annual
Redis is seeking a Solution Architect to educate and collaborate with customers to create customized Redis-powered solutions for their specific business and database needs. In this role, you will drive proof-of-concepts, pilots, and evaluations while working hands-on with customers using Redis's in-memory database technology.
You will help customers meet their technology and business requirements by understanding, quantifying, and verifying their specific use cases. You'll work diligently with customer technical teams (architects, developers, PMOs, and C-level experts) to ensure the success of all customer POCs and pilots. Close collaboration with the Sales team is essential to develop effective account strategies, identify new opportunities, and expand business with existing accounts.
A key part of your role is presenting the company, its capabilities, and technology in a highly professional and engaging way that helps customers understand the business impact and competitive advantages of Redis offerings. You will also use customer feedback and insights to improve product materials, technical best practices, and technical documentation, while providing valuable feedback to Product Management and R&D teams.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering (ideally database engineering) for enterprise software
- Hands-on experience with server-side software development and Linux
- Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems
- BS in Computer Science, B.A., or equivalent work experience
- Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
