Salary: USD 160,000 - 230,000 / annual

You will manage and mentor a team of software engineers building reliable, performant, and user-friendly software for Axion and/or VehicleSim—critical revenue-generating simulation products. As the technical owner of your product area, you'll provide technical guidance, lead prioritization decisions, and champion best practices for complex software systems. You'll partner closely with a dedicated product manager to build a category-leading product and be responsible for recruiting and developing your team.
This role is ideal for an engineering manager with a strong focus on quality, real customer impact, and technical depth. You'll work on cutting-edge autonomy technology that meaningfully accelerates the efforts of top autonomy teams globally.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, robotics, or related field from a top institution; 2+ years of people management experience; programming experience in C++, Python, or Java; ability to obtain US Government security clearance.
Nice-to-have: direct end-user experience, experience building software for technical users, performance-oriented simulation software background.
Applied Intuition maintains offices globally including Sunnyvale (HQ), Washington DC, San Diego, Ft. Walton Beach, Ann Arbor, London, Stuttgart, Munich, Stockholm, Bangalore, Seoul, and Tokyo. The company expects full-time employees to work in-office 5 days per week, with flexibility for occasional remote work and schedule adjustments.
