Zoox's Robot Software Infrastructure team is building the operating system and platform-level software that powers autonomous vehicles. This role focuses on developing performant, hardware-accelerated systems that enable complex autonomy workloads on automotive-grade hardware.
You will work on core infrastructure that supports multiple vehicle systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams including autonomy developers, hardware engineers, release management, manufacturing, and operations. The team's work directly impacts vehicle development and deployment at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing platform-level software and services for autonomous vehicle systems
- Optimizing performance for hardware-accelerated workloads critical to autonomous driving
- Collaborating with hardware engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure reliability and scalability
- Contributing to the next generation of Zoox's platform and robotaxi technology
- Thinking holistically about how components integrate into larger system architecture
