As a Software Engineer II in Site Reliability Engineering, you will own the design, operation, and continuous improvement of production systems. You'll work across AWS, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, and observability tooling, partnering closely with application and platform engineering teams to enhance reliability and scalability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and operating production infrastructure on AWS, with a focus on EKS-based Kubernetes deployments
- Managing infrastructure as code using Terraform, automating provisioning and configuration
- Designing and improving CI/CD and GitOps workflows using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD
- Automating operational tasks using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages
- Implementing comprehensive monitoring and observability using Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or equivalent tools
- Participating in on-call rotations, incident response, root cause analysis, and long-term remediation efforts
- Defining and improving SLIs/SLOs to drive reliability improvements
- Identifying opportunities to enhance scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency across systems
- Collaborating with application, platform, security, and other engineering teams to solve complex infrastructure challenges
You should have 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or related roles. Strong Linux and networking fundamentals are essential. You'll need hands-on AWS experience, Kubernetes proficiency (EKS preferred), and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools. Experience with CI/CD platforms, observability solutions, and scripting/automation languages is required. You move fast, think critically, act as an owner, and care deeply about solving customer problems with precision.
