The company operates with a lean, fast-moving structure backed by top investors and has secured a dozen Department of Defense contracts while partnering with major airlines on mission-critical systems.
As a Frontend Web App Engineer, you will design and implement React-based features for web applications that interact with complex aviation data. You'll work with real-time and historical datasets, integrating and visualizing information from multiple sources. Collaboration is central to the role—you'll partner closely with backend engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers throughout the feature development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include building user-facing features that enable interaction with flight safety platforms, contributing to code reviews and maintaining established frontend best practices, ensuring frontend systems are reliable through testing and documentation, and developing reusable components for shared frontend libraries.
You should have 2+ years of experience building user-facing web applications (or equivalent through internships and projects), strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, state management, and modern web standards. Familiarity with asynchronous frontend patterns and API/data stream integration is expected. You'll thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to code quality and performance.
Bonus qualifications include passion for aviation, experience with mapping or geospatial tools (Mapbox, Cesium), and exposure to live data or video streaming concepts.
