You'll join the engineering team to design and build the next generation of AI-powered integration platforms. This role focuses on developing secure, scalable connectors and MCP (Model Context Protocol) implementations that enable enterprises to safely integrate AI agents with their existing systems, data sources, and workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and deliver secure, scalable AI integration platforms connecting enterprise systems to power mission-critical automation
- Contribute to the design of the AI integration client ecosystem, defining how AI applications securely connect to external tools and data sources
- Own backend service design for high-throughput, low-latency APIs enabling reliable agent workflows and cross-system orchestration
- Set technical direction for identity, authentication, and trust boundaries across integrations (OAuth, API keys, service-to-service), balancing developer velocity with security and compliance
- Partner with product and cross-functional leaders to shape roadmap and translate business goals into durable platform capabilities
- Lead production excellence through metrics-first reliability strategy, defining SLOs/SLAs, maturing observability, and driving resilience and performance optimization
- Raise engineering standards through architecture reviews, design standards, testing strategy, and mentorship of senior and mid-level engineers
You'll report to the Senior Director of Engineering and work hybrid from San Francisco, NYC, or Seattle offices.
