iCapital Network is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to work end-to-end on new features, enhancements, and defect resolution across one or more of their software platforms. You will collaborate closely with Product Management throughout the development lifecycle, detailing requirements, reviewing work in progress, and addressing issues identified through testing. The role involves full-stack development using Ruby on Rails and Scala for backend services, and React with Redux for frontend interfaces. You will be responsible for backend feature development, frontend implementation, unit and integration testing (both manual and automated), building prototypes and POCs, and participating actively in daily standups and peer code reviews as part of the standard SDLC and change management process. You bring 6+ years of full-stack, web-based application development experience with demonstrated expertise in React, Ruby on Rails or Scala, and HTML/CSS. You have a solid understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practices. Beyond technical skills, you are passionate about learning new technologies, excel at problem-solving, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively whether independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Software Engineering and is fluent in both English and Portuguese (written and verbal). iCapital values technical depth and the drive to deliver end products for clients. If you're not already familiar with their specific tech stack, you'll have the opportunity to learn on the job with support from management and mentors. Work arrangement: four days in office, one day remote (Friday). iCapital offers competitive salary, annual performance bonus, equity for full-time employees, 100% employer-paid health and dental insurance, and generous paid time off.
