Harvey is an AI platform transforming legal and professional services by combining frontier agentic AI, enterprise-grade infrastructure, and deep domain expertise. The company is at a strong inflection point with product-market fit, world-class investor backing, and rapid scaling.
You'll shape how Harvey shows up on social media and in community conversations. This role combines content creation and community management—turning product launches, announcements, and company thinking into sharp, native content across owned channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, emerging platforms) and employee advocacy channels. You'll also own day-to-day community management: monitoring DMs, comments, and mentions; moderating and growing community spaces; routing inquiries to the right teams; and starting conversations that draw people toward Harvey.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing scroll-stopping copy tuned to each platform's dynamics, balancing planned campaigns with real-time posts
- Creating employee and advocacy content that amplifies company moments while maintaining a consistent Harvey voice
- Turning single launches into multi-channel content sets that work across audiences
- Managing the social inbox: responding to DMs, comments, and mentions with speed, warmth, and judgment
- Building response guidelines, tone standards, and saved replies to maintain consistency at scale
- Setting up triage and escalation paths for customer support, sales, press, partnerships, and sensitive matters
- Moderating communities and comment sections; handling spam, trolling, and negative sentiment
- Proactively joining relevant conversations in legal, legal tech, and AI communities to build relationships and spot opportunities
- Finding and engaging customers, advocates, and creators; highlighting user-generated content
- Running social listening to track brand mentions, sentiment, competitor activity, and trends; sharing insights with Marketing, Product, Comms, and Customer Success
- Acting as first line of defense on brand safety; flagging issues early and supporting response plans
- Tracking and reporting on content performance and community health (engagement, response times, sentiment, follower growth, conversation volume)
- Using performance data to refine content, hooks, and response approach
- Sharing recurring community themes (questions, feedback, pain points) to inform content strategy, product messaging, and FAQs
Requirements:
- 3+ years in social content, community management, or similar role, ideally at high-growth tech, AI, or legal-focused company, or in fast-moving brand/agency environment
- Exceptional short-form writing and editorial judgment, with portfolio demonstrating earned attention
- Hands-on experience managing brand social inbox and online communities, including moderation, escalation, and response workflows
- Strong feel for internet culture, online communities, and what makes content and conversations travel
- Ability to write as brand and for employees without losing through-line (voice chameleon)
- Comfort living in replies and handling DMs, comments, mentions with speed, warmth, and judgment, including difficult exchanges
- Sound judgment about confidentiality, customer privacy, and escalation judgment
- Ability to move quickly on real-time moments while maintaining quality and brand safety
- Strong organization and follow-through managing high volume of conversations and requests
- Experience with social management, scheduling, and listening tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, or similar)
- Comfort using analytics and engagement data to inform writing and engagement decisions
- Collaborative approach; experience working across Marketing, Comms, Customer Success, Sales, and Legal
Nice to have: legal tech or enterprise SaaS experience; copywriting, journalism, or editorial background; experience running engaged personal or brand account; experience building professional communities, advocacy programs, or creator/ambassador programs; crisis or issues management experience; interest in AI and responsible communication.
