SingleStore is a venture-backed, cloud-native distributed SQL database company seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to optimize and scale its managed service offering across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will work at the intersection of high-performance distributed databases, Kubernetes orchestration, and cloud infrastructure. In this role, you'll be part of a globally distributed SRE team driving infrastructure automation and operational excellence. Your primary focus will be eliminating manual processes through infrastructure-as-code, optimizing telemetry and monitoring systems to proactively identify customer-impacting events, and partnering with engineering teams to optimize service performance for cloud architectures. Key responsibilities include: - Developing automation platforms to manage infrastructure rollouts across multiple cloud providers - Optimizing telemetry and monitoring systems to surface relevant debugging data - Collaborating with engineering teams on cloud architecture performance optimization - Debugging live site incidents and conducting root cause analysis - Participating in SLA-driven on-call rotation (including after-hours, weekends, and holidays) You should have infrastructure automation experience (Python and/or Golang preferred), strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization, familiarity with at least one major cloud platform, and hands-on experience debugging complex production systems. A B.S. in Computer Science or related field is required. Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills are essential.
