As Site Director of Ground Operations, you will lead warehouse operations across a regional hub-and-spoke network, reporting to the Regional Vice President. This is a people-management role overseeing multiple warehouse site leaders and their teams, with full P&L accountability for the region.
Key responsibilities include: strategically directing warehouse operations to meet performance goals and OKRs; owning regional P&L, budgets, and labor costs; driving process improvement and network-wide operational initiatives; ensuring 100% safety compliance and regulatory adherence; coaching and mentoring site leaders; succession planning and talent development; and maintaining high visibility on the warehouse floor.
You will use advanced analytics (Excel, Google Sheets) to monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to leadership. The role requires directing both direct and indirect reports, fostering a high-performance, merit-based culture aligned with Veho's values of customer obsession, first-principles thinking, and ownership bias toward action.
Physical demands include standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs during peak operations or site audits. You will serve as the primary point of contact for market operational updates, communicating with both executive leadership and frontline teams.
Required: 7–10 years warehouse operations management experience; minimum 7 years leading direct and indirect reports; bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency; strong communication skills. Preferred: related bachelor's degree; proven P&L management in high-growth environments; experience leading large-scale network initiatives.
