Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Mission Operations Engineer to join the USSOCOM System Integration Partner (SIP) Program. This role sits within the Mission Operations team, which manages execution, growth, and success of military partners by bridging product, engineering, and logistics teams. You will be responsible for delivering world-class technical training to Special Operations Forces (SOF) components on Anduril's family of systems, powered by Lattice OS—an AI-powered operating system for real-time 3D command and control. You will serve as the counter unmanned systems (cUAS) subject matter expert, owning customer relationships and ensuring partners can effectively deploy Anduril products in support of their missions. Key responsibilities include: - Deliver training and education to SOF components across the entire Systems Integration Partner family-of-systems - Contribute to training curricula (e.g., Points of Instruction) across computer-based simulations, knowledge portals, and hands-on individual and collective training - Collaborate with SOF component customers to identify knowledge gaps, training opportunities, and build solutions - Create and update training material for Anduril and partner product capabilities - Manage end-to-end hardware and software configurations for all assigned cUAS equipment - Serve as the internal voice of the customer to all Anduril teams, capturing product updates and supporting training for end users You will work side-by-side with customers to understand their specific problem sets and adapt Anduril's offerings to fit mission needs. This is a fast-growing company at an early stage, and you will be expected to immediately develop and own material and projects with significant impact on the program's trajectory. The role is based out of Costa Mesa, CA (Anduril HQ) but requires up to 75% travel to customer sites. Requirements: - 8 years of work experience within the United States Special Operations Community - Ownership mentality with strong initiative in managing work in isolated environments - Resourcefulness and natural bias towards action; assume responsibility early in your Anduril career - Ability to represent Anduril at remote sites co-located with customers and push customer capabilities - Training background, ideally with experience planning training events and/or delivering training - Comfort communicating complex thoughts simply across various communication methods and tools - Enthusiasm for transforming US and allied military capabilities with advanced technology - Secret clearance required; Top Secret preferred - Operational experience delivering defense technology solutions to USG customers in hazardous areas or combat zones highly preferred
