Onebrief builds AI-powered collaboration and workflow software for military planning and operational coordination. The company leverages AtomEngine, a proprietary cloud-based simulation engine that transforms complex operational environments into dynamic, interactive, and playable experiences for wargaming and strategic analysis. As a Simulation Content Creator, you will bridge product design and real-world domain expertise to create high-fidelity, functional entities and scenarios within AtomEngine. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented builder who enjoys historical and technical research, system design, and turning complex real-world platform performance into intuitive simulation-ready content. Key responsibilities include: - Gather and analyze accurate performance data for global military platforms across diverse operational domains - Build, configure, and maintain functional, simulation-ready entities using the AtomEngine editor - Test entities against one another to tune, balance, and verify real-world behavior and interactions - Design and publish challenging gameplay scenarios and wargaming environments that reflect realistic tactical and operational constraints - Collaborate with product design teams to identify tool bugs, troubleshoot configuration issues, and improve authoring workflows - Maintain clear, accessible documentation for the growing entity catalog and scenario library You will work closely with feature design and product teams to expand the AtomEngine simulation ecosystem. Success in this role means establishing reliable rhythms for authoring and testing new entities, building authentic and challenging scenarios that support user wargaming objectives, serving as a key feedback loop for engineering by identifying friction points and logging actionable bug reports, and producing organized documentation that enables team navigation of the expanding entity library. Required qualifications include strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot independently, concise written and spoken communication, deep curiosity about complex systems and operational dynamics, experience with game modding tools or level editors, and U.S. citizenship (required for federal contract work). Preferred experience includes familiarity with standard game development workflows (version control, bug tracking) and experience researching and synthesizing technical reference material.
