The Settlement Assistant Manager will manage and support various aspects of the organization's business activities and counterparty relationships. Key responsibilities include opening and managing the organization's cryptocurrency (sub) accounts and wallets held on various counterparty platforms; handling and approving payment instructions raised by business partners; verifying and cross-checking payment amounts and counterparty wallet information; completing payment processes and releasing funds while ensuring due diligence on all procedures; and supporting month-end reporting processes.
The role requires flexibility and teamwork, with occasional evening hours or weekend/public holiday work to liaise with counterparties across different time zones. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, with 5-7 years of experience in treasury, banking operations, middle-office functions, and/or payments processing. Strong knowledge of treasury, trade settlements, and funds movement processes is essential. Required competencies include excellent time management and organizational skills, diligence and attention to detail, strong communication and partnership abilities with internal and external stakeholders, and fluency in English. Fluency in Mandarin is advantageous due to the need to work closely with Mandarin and English-speaking stakeholders. The position operates on a shift-based rotation schedule.
