Veeva Systems is seeking a Services Engagement Manager to drive successful customer engagements for ClinData implementations. This role bridges sales and delivery, acting as a solution expert who structures implementation strategies, sets client expectations, and establishes confidence in Veeva's ability to deliver.
You will work closely with sales, strategy, and services teams to deliver implementation proposals, establish project charters (including staffing, timeframes, and costs), and recommend implementation partners. Key responsibilities include aligning with internal and external stakeholders, positioning support and training solutions, and ensuring long-term customer success during the critical scoping and planning phase.
This is a customer-facing role requiring deep clinical trial systems expertise and strong communication skills. You'll engage audiences from operational staff to executive leadership, negotiate complex Statements of Work, and travel less than 25% of the time.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years delivering consulting services or selling services for Clinical Data Applications with proven track record
- 2+ years scoping/defining project plans, resource models, and negotiating Statements of Work for software implementation projects
- Understanding of clinical trial data capture domain: EDC, IVRS, safety systems, CTMS, downstream databases, eCOA
- Familiarity working with Life Sciences Industry
- Ability to engage audiences at varying perception levels, including executive leadership
- Strong negotiation skills
- Collaborative, consultative work style
- Ability to work under pressure with competing timelines
- Ability to travel
