Celonis is seeking a Senior Value Engineer to serve as a trusted advisor helping customers achieve strategic goals and realize significant value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. This role combines customer-facing consulting with deep technical and business acumen to drive end-to-end customer value journeys across landing, expanding, adopting, and renewing phases.
You will work in partnership with Celonis Sales Teams and own the complete value realization journey for assigned customers. Your responsibilities span three core areas:
**Identify & Frame Value:** Discover and translate customers' strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases. Build compelling demos and business cases leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices. Conduct Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects and communicate value opportunities and strategic roadmaps to C-level executives.
**Realize Value:** Facilitate business value workshops to identify and qualify process enhancement opportunities. Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate improvement actions and enterprise-wide change initiatives. Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.
**Scale Value:** Own the end-to-end customer value journey and build strategic expansion roadmaps for customers embedding Celonis as a transformation platform. Drive adoption and expansion while providing feedback to product development teams on new use cases.
You will blend deep process and industry expertise with proven consulting and strong analytical skills, working across various processes and industries to accelerate platform adoption and drive measurable business impact.
**Requirements:**
- Experience in an analytical role demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role (Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, IT/Management Consulting) at a Business Software/SaaS provider or consultancy, or in an inhouse role (e.g., Center of Excellence for Data Mining/Analytics/Intelligence) within an Enterprise
- Good knowledge of Business Software/SaaS applications (e.g., SAP); experience implementing RPA and/or BI Tools; experience building Dashboards, Apps, and Action Flows
- Knowledge of Python and/or SQL; experience collaborating with IT teams
- Experience identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures; proven ability as a change agent training users/process owners to realize value
- Experience planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines; ability to manage multiple projects across aligned accounts at different value journey stages
- Experience preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management; excellent communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain domain; familiarity with strategic transformation initiatives (e.g., Shared Services Transformation, System Transformation)
- Ideally, expertise in Aviation/Logistics/Transportation with ability to develop deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities
- Degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or comparable program
