Salary: USD 108,000 - 162,000 / annual
Relativity Space is building rockets to serve today's needs and tomorrow's breakthroughs. The Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting growing demand for launch capacity. You will join the People team, a core business enabler with broad visibility across the company, and directly support the Stennis Test team—a hands-on group that designs, builds, and operates Relativity's propulsion and stage test stands. The Stennis Test team works with large-scale, complex systems including fully integrated engines and stage assemblies, pushing hardware to the limits and directly contributing to flight readiness.
As Senior Technical Trainer, you will own the learning experience for the Stennis Test team. Your responsibilities include:
• Identify learning needs by collaborating with internal subject matter experts to understand tasks and processes within the Stennis Test team.
• Develop learning content and programs aligned with Relativity Space's overarching learning standards, leveraging existing resources where applicable.
• Develop, facilitate, and manage in-person and virtual training sessions, including scheduling, materials preparation, attendance tracking, and driving improvement through learner feedback.
• Manage the Learning Management System to ensure Stennis Test programs are captured, team members have self-service resources, and attendance is tracked for compliance.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve training effectiveness; report findings to stakeholders and senior leadership; develop scalable and automated systems.
• Engage external partners and vendors to leverage specialized expertise for learning programs that support team and company success.
You will work in a close-knit, dynamic environment where collaboration between technicians, operators, and engineers is expected. The work is fast-paced and highly operational. As the company scales, the Stennis Test team becomes increasingly critical to proving out full-stage systems and enabling routine, reliable flights of Terran R.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of experience developing and delivering technical training (aerospace maintenance or manufacturing preferred)
• Demonstrated experience as a collaborative but analytical, goal-oriented team player
• Familiarity with training platforms and tools (LMS, content authoring tools, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must clear a background check administered by the US government to obtain clearance for on-site work at the government partner location in Stennis, Mississippi
NICE TO HAVES:
• 8+ years of technical training experience (aerospace maintenance or manufacturing preferred)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Storyline Articulate/360
