Gallatin is rebuilding logistics infrastructure for U.S. national security missions, building AI systems that drive logistics decision-making from factory to foxhole. The company is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to play a foundational role in scaling the team and attracting top talent to support this mission.
In this role, you will own the full candidate lifecycle and act as a true partner to hiring managers. You will design and execute creative, role-specific sourcing strategies to attract exceptional talent across technical and operational functions. You'll build and maintain proactive pipelines for priority roles, represent Gallatin at conferences and industry events to build long-term relationships, and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining a high bar for candidate experience.
Key responsibilities include closing candidates with confidence by managing competing offers and navigating complex negotiations, building genuine trusted relationships with hiring managers to advise on role calibration and market dynamics, and identifying ways to make recruiting more repeatable and scalable. You'll represent the company externally at recruiting events and conferences, requiring willingness to travel.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, including base salary, generous equity grant, full healthcare coverage, 401k, and unlimited PTO. Note: U.S. citizenship is required for all positions. The role may require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance and work in classified environments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a full-cycle recruiter, owning the entire process from intake to offer acceptance
- Strong command of sourcing tools, platforms, and techniques with curiosity to discover new ones
- Experience recruiting in fast-paced, startup-like environments
- Track record of closing candidates in competitive markets and managing complex offer negotiations
- Knowledge of how to use AI to advantage in sourcing and process improvement
- Enjoyment working with hiring managers and teams to improve processes
- Willingness and enthusiasm to travel for conference attendance and recruiting events
- Genuine motivation to grow and build a career in talent acquisition
Bonus qualifications:
- Prior recruiting experience in AI, defense, or national security sectors
- Familiarity recruiting for cleared or clearance-eligible roles
