Fuse Energy is a well-funded energy startup ($200M+ raised from top-tier investors including Balderton, Accel, Lowerstar, and others) building an integrated energy company that combines solar, batteries, grid infrastructure, AI, and distributed energy solutions sold directly to consumers. The company is scaling rapidly across engineering, hardware, trading, and quantitative roles.
As Senior Technical Recruiter, you will own full-cycle hiring to attract world-class talent across these technical disciplines. You'll develop tailored sourcing strategies targeting candidates from high-growth tech companies, trading firms, hedge funds, and elite technical organizations. Your responsibilities include screening and assessing candidates for both technical excellence and cultural fit, running high-quality recruitment processes with strong pipeline management, facilitating debriefs, negotiating offers, and closing talent in competitive markets. You'll build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and department heads to understand their needs and timelines.
This is a senior individual contributor role focused on recruitment excellence and strategic talent acquisition for a mission-driven, fast-growing company.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with strong focus on technical roles (software engineering, hardware/electronics engineering, trading, quant, data science or similar) in high-performance environments
- Background hiring at companies known for high bar standards, whether at trading firms, hedge funds, HFTs, tech agencies, or in-house at scaling tech companies
- Proven ability to identify and close candidates with niche, in-demand skill sets
- Comfortable working across multiple technical disciplines, not limited to one specialism
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills across all organizational levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with ATS tools, reporting, and data-driven recruiting practices
