Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the development and integration of advanced defense technologies for Intelligence Community customers. This role sits within Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS), which focuses on delivering specialized engineering and products to IC customers, addressing their most pressing national security requirements.
You will serve as a high-agency leader bridging complex engineering and mission execution, operating at the intersection of hardware and software. Rather than passively tracking tasks, you will actively drive the development, testing, and deployment of cutting-edge technologies at speed.
Key responsibilities include:
**Drive Cross-Functional Execution:** Orchestrate end-to-end paths to flight/fielding, driving alignment across structural, electrical, GNC, autonomy, and payload teams from architecture through Hardware-in-the-Loop testing and range operations. Act as connective tissue across domain experts, uncovering and resolving interface mismatches and integration gaps before they become blockers. Bridge disparate engineering cycles—aligning rapid software sprints with long-lead mechanical fabrication, PCB spins, and integration milestones.
**Risk Mitigation & Problem Solving:** Proactively identify technical, supply chain, and schedule bottlenecks. Roll up your sleeves to help engineering teams unblock issues and make technical trade-offs. Convert abstract technical and operational risks into concrete burn-down plans with explicit ownership, aggressive timelines, and measurable exit criteria. Anticipate single points of failure and build proactive fallback options before risks materialize. Apply first-principles thinking to break technical impasses, balancing speed-to-fleet, unit cost, and system reliability.
**Deliverables Owner:** Drive the contract deliverables process during implementation and ongoing operations. Work with internal stakeholders daily to ensure accurate development and timely submission of government deliverables, ensuring contractual compliance and on-time submission. Assist with Forward-Looking Metrics and Trend Analysis to produce informative reports. Define, plan, coordinate, and conduct product and subsystem reviews, change boards, and audits.
**Master Schedule Owner:** Maintain schedule coherence across multiple teams and networks. Develop, implement, and maintain effective scheduling management systems. Develop and coordinate integrated master schedules with internal departments and external stakeholders. Monitor timelines, identify delays, facilitate timely intervention, evaluate performance, and prepare progress reports. Accommodate updates and changes while keeping stakeholders informed.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in technical project management or related project management in a relevant industry
- Ability to travel up to 20% as needed
- Familiarity with government acquisition and reporting processes
- Comfortable with contract financial data, invoicing, and analyzing staffing burn rates against contract ceilings
- Ability to create and deliver presentations in technical and programmatic reports to key leadership and customers
- Comfortable setting and achieving goals in an amorphous environment
- Adaptive and introspective; willing to learn, teach, lead, and follow
- Comfortable working in limited resource environments
- Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- Experience with government contracts strongly preferred
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Domain expertise in networking or telecommunications
- Prior experience developing end-device networking hardware
- Background in communication systems design, integration, or deployment
