Braze is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to own the localization infrastructure platform, an early-stage initiative to build AI-powered translation systems that replace manual processes and bottlenecks across dozens of products and markets.
You'll sit on the Content Platforms team as a senior individual contributor with no direct reports but significant influence—setting direction, raising the bar, and leading cross-functional collaboration. The role combines product strategy with hands-on technical execution: you'll design self-serve systems, build functional prototypes, partner closely with engineers, and measure adoption.
Key responsibilities include owning the localization product roadmap and architecture decisions, designing workflows that enable teams to move independently without central queues, driving adoption of AI-assisted translation tooling while maintaining quality standards, and managing vendor relationships. You'll help determine build-vs-buy decisions and integrate external solutions with internal platforms.
Localization at Braze touches nearly every function—Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Sales, Enablement, Product, Engineering, Support, and regional teams. Your first priority is understanding the existing program: what works, what doesn't, and where real opportunities lie. The platform must be informed by that reality, not imposed on it.
This is not a research or presentation role. You'll write code, ship prototypes, pair with engineers, and use AI-assisted development as a core working method. The role is positioned as initial focus on localization, but the team owns a broader technical content operations remit; as the platform matures, you'll expand into adjacent problem areas.
The localization industry is undergoing significant transformation driven by AI. This role puts you at the forefront—not reacting to AI adoption but deciding how an enterprise actually implements it.
