OneTrust is seeking a Senior Technical Architect (Privacy) to join the Technical Advisory team within Customer Success. This is a customer-facing advisory role combining strong technical expertise with consultancy skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with enterprise clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor and product expert, working with privacy, legal, compliance, and technology stakeholders to understand business objectives, assess platform maturity and adoption, and provide clear recommendations across privacy processes, operating models, workflows, data, and integrations. You will not own hands-on implementation or configuration, but rather focus on strategic guidance and advisory delivery. Key responsibilities include leading outcome-focused discovery and advisory engagements with customers, clarifying objectives and constraints before recommending solutions, translating business and regulatory needs into practical recommendations for OneTrust capabilities, and assessing customer readiness and adoption barriers. You will create decision-ready deliverables such as current-state assessments, future-state recommendations, reference architectures, and process guidance. You will build trusted relationships with both technical and executive audiences, partner across Customer Success, Product, Sales, Support, and Professional Services teams, and capture recurring customer needs to inform product feedback and enablement content. Required qualifications include 5+ years in consulting, technical advisory, solution consulting, customer success, business analysis, or similar customer-facing problem-solving roles. You need a strong technical background in enterprise software (ideally SaaS), systems, data, workflow design, integrations, APIs, or solution architecture. You must demonstrate consultative skills, learning agility, strong communication abilities across audiences, and the capacity to influence stakeholders without direct authority. A BA/BS in a related subject is required. Preferred experience includes privacy, data protection, privacy operations, or privacy technology; familiarity with OneTrust Privacy Automation or comparable platforms; knowledge of privacy regulations and frameworks; relevant credentials such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT; and experience creating advisory playbooks or reference architectures.
