OneTrust is seeking a Senior Technical Architect for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to join the Technical Advisory team within Customer Success. This is a customer-facing advisory role combining deep GRC expertise with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, working with risk leaders, compliance teams, audit functions, and technology stakeholders. Your mission is to lead outcome-focused discovery and advisory engagements, applying GRC expertise to understand customer objectives, pain points, and desired outcomes. You will guide customers across OneTrust's capabilities including IT risk management, compliance automation, enterprise policy management, audit and compliance management, and third-party risk management.
Key responsibilities include conducting discovery workshops and expert sessions, assessing customer readiness and process maturity, creating decision-ready deliverables such as current-state assessments and future-state recommendations, and building trusted relationships with both technical and executive audiences. You will partner closely with Customer Success, Product, Sales, Support, and Professional Services teams to deliver consistent outcomes. You will also capture recurring customer needs and translate them into product feedback, enablement content, and playbooks.
Required qualifications include 5+ years in consulting, technical advisory, solution consulting, customer success, business analysis, or transformation roles. You must have strong experience in governance, risk, compliance, technology risk, audit, or security assurance, with deep understanding of how GRC programs operate in complex organizations. A technical background or fluency in enterprise SaaS platforms, workflow design, data, and reporting is essential. You must hold a BA/BS in a related subject, demonstrate consultative problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to influence stakeholders without direct authority. A business-oriented mindset connecting GRC requirements to organizational priorities is critical.
Preferred qualifications include experience with OneTrust GRC platform or comparable solutions, advising enterprise customers on GRC transformation and platform adoption, relevant credentials (GRCP, GRCA, CRISC, CISA, CISM), and experience creating advisory playbooks and maturity models.
