The company handles global payments, compliance, multi-currency management, workforce management, working capital, and business intelligence. As Senior Tax Manager, you will lead Payoneer's global tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions. You'll own the worldwide income tax provision process (quarterly and annually) under ASC 740, including ETR analysis, deferred tax calculations, uncertain tax positions, and financial statement disclosures. You'll maintain SOX-compliant controls documentation and partner closely with Accounting and FP&A teams to understand financial results and tax drivers. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing technical tax memoranda related to tax positions and reserves (FIN 48/FAS 5), managing U.S. federal, state, and local income tax return filings, overseeing transfer pricing documentation, supporting Pillar 2/global minimum tax analysis, and coordinating Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) requirements. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams (Finance, Legal) and external advisors on tax matters, support local controllers with country-specific compliance, and drive continuous process improvements in tax provision and compliance workflows. You'll also mentor junior team members as applicable. You bring 7+ years of progressive tax experience from Big 4 or top national public accounting firms and/or multinational corporate tax roles. CPA certification is required; MST or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. Strong expertise in income tax provision, multi-jurisdictional tax compliance, transfer pricing, and ASC 740 is essential. You're detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable managing complex, high-stakes tax matters in a fast-paced environment.
