Rubrik is seeking a Senior Talent Partner to lead engineering hiring for its Bengaluru site, one of the company's largest and fastest-growing engineering organizations. You will own full life-cycle recruitment for Rubrik's most complex technical searches—distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, security, data, and AI/ML—through offer acceptance.
This is a senior individual-contributor role. You will lead the hardest technical searches independently and advise engineering VPs on leveling, team composition, and location strategy. You'll partner with engineering leaders in Bengaluru and the US, and serve as the standard for technical recruiting across the India Talent Acquisition team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead full life-cycle recruitment for complex engineering searches in distributed systems, cloud, security, data, and AI/ML domains
- Advise engineering Directors, VPs, and above on hiring strategy, driving leveling calls, team composition, and location decisions with market evidence
- Design and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies using competitive intelligence to reach passive candidates
- Conduct credible technical conversations with sufficient depth to screen for signal, calibrate interview panels, and earn engineer respect
- Build structural diversity into pipelines through intake design, panel involvement in sourcing, and outcome tracking
- Lead a Talent Acquisition initiative beyond your own requisitions—such as interviewer calibration, technical screen design, candidate experience, or reporting
- Set standards on tools and process for technical hiring, mentor peers, and challenge ineffective practices

REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of full life-cycle recruiting, with substantial experience hiring software engineers at product companies
- Proven ability to close senior and hard-to-fill technical roles independently across multiple engineering domains
- Technical fluency: ability to read systems and ML profiles accurately and discuss the work without reference materials
- Credibility with engineering VPs, evidenced by talent recommendations that influenced leveling, profile decisions, or organizational structure
- Advanced command of the Indian engineering market: knowledge of who is hiring, talent movement patterns, and what drives engineer mobility
- Advanced proficiency with ATS and sourcing stack tools at a level where peers seek your guidance
- Persuasive communication skills that close candidates and reframe hiring team perspectives on profiles
