Safe Software, a 30+ year-old enterprise data integration platform company (FME), is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist focused on Go-To-Market hiring. You will own full-cycle recruitment for revenue-facing teams including Sales (AE, AM, SDR), Sales Leadership, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships & Channel, Solutions & Sales Engineering, and Revenue Operations across Canada and the US.
Key responsibilities include: developing and executing proactive sourcing strategies for competitive commercial talent markets; partnering closely with revenue leaders to understand territory plans, define role scorecards, and build hiring strategies; building and nurturing evergreen talent pipelines for repeatable GTM roles and hard-to-fill specialist/leadership positions; leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby ATS, job boards, social sourcing, referrals, and industry events; assessing for GTM-specific signals including quota attainment, deal size, territory fit, technical aptitude, and customer-facing communication skills; conducting structured and behaviour-based interviews with role-specific evaluation mechanisms (mock discovery calls, pitch/demo exercises, written work samples, case-based challenges); acting as a market expert advising on compensation expectations, competitor talent movement, and time-to-hire realities; selling the Safe story to candidates with competing offers; maintaining regular candidate communication; and analyzing recruitment data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
You will work collaboratively with the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, business leaders, and the broader HR function. While GTM hiring is your primary focus, you may support hiring across other parts of the business as priorities shift.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of full-cycle talent acquisition experience, with significant focus on go-to-market, revenue, or commercial hiring, preferably in B2B software or technology
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated success hiring quota-carrying Sales roles and Sales Leadership, plus experience across at least two of: Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships/Channel, Solutions/Sales Engineering, Revenue Operations
- Proven track record of proactive, outbound sourcing for passive commercial candidates in competitive markets
- Demonstrated success recruiting in US and internationally, with strong understanding of global GTM talent markets and regional compensation norms
- Working knowledge of sales compensation structures (base/variable splits, OTE, commission plans, accelerators) and ability to conduct credible compensation conversations
- Strong interviewing capabilities including structured and behavioural interviewing; ability to distinguish genuine performance from strong self-presentation
- Ability to introduce and leverage assessment mechanisms (pitch/demo exercises, mock calls, written work samples, situational judgment tests, competency-based assessments)
- Effective communication skills with ability to influence and guide fast-moving revenue leaders
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities and requisitions
- Comfort operating with urgency and adapting as headcount priorities shift mid-quarter
- Experience with Ashby or similar modern, data-driven Applicant Tracking Systems
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, JuiceBox AI, or other professional sourcing platforms
- Familiarity with recruitment analytics and data-driven decision making, including GTM pipeline and funnel metrics
Desired: Experience hiring for technical or highly technical products; knowledge of employer branding strategies and talent market research for commercial audiences; training/certification in structured interviewing or assessment methodology; experience building diversity sourcing strategies and inclusive recruitment practices.
