CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to build and manage a pipeline of top technical talent for the aerospace and defense sector. The company develops advanced communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms.
In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent across engineering disciplines. You will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment activities, from sourcing and screening candidates through offer negotiation. Your responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and develop targeted recruitment strategies
• Proactively sourcing and engaging top-tier technical candidates for engineering, software development, aerospace, and related roles
• Assessing the technical capabilities and aptitude of candidates for complex engineering positions
• Consulting with hiring managers on candidate backgrounds and making hiring recommendations
• Managing full-cycle recruitment: screening, skills evaluation, cultural fit assessment, interview facilitation, and offer extension
• Utilizing diverse sourcing techniques including job boards, social media, industry conferences, and networking events
• Building a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through creative sourcing campaigns
• Managing multiple high-priority technical requisitions simultaneously
• Supporting additional functions as needed in a high-growth startup environment
This is a multifaceted role requiring strong technical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to understand and communicate CesiumAstro's value proposition to candidates.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical recruiting within aerospace, space, and/or defense industries
• Prior career experience in aerospace or similar industries working in relevant engineering disciplines
• Demonstrated experience recruiting for aerospace, electrical, mechanical, software, and other engineering positions (strong preference for electrical engineering disciplines including Digital Hardware, Power Electronics, FPGA, RF, and Antenna Design)
• Strong networking skills with ability to connect with passive candidates
• Proven full-cycle recruiting experience (screening, hiring manager consultation, interview facilitation, offer extension)
• Demonstrated recruiting techniques including cold calling, planning/executing networking events, locating industry experts, and developing focused sourcing campaigns
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority technical requisitions concurrently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, or refugee, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations
