Anduril Intelligence Systems seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead requirements management and system architecture for complex defense intelligence systems. You will define and document system architectures for integrated hardware/software systems, including functional decomposition, interface definition, and requirements allocation across hardware, software, and firmware elements. Key responsibilities include establishing traceability between requirements, designs, and tests; collaborating with fast-paced hardware and software teams; building and integrating system models using next-generation agentic modeling tools; owning the system model as the authoritative source of design intent; and leading system-level design reviews internally and with external customers.
You bring 6+ years of experience documenting and developing system requirements for new product design, development, and testing, with demonstrated expertise as a lead system architect for complex hardware/software systems. You have hands-on experience with system modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, including SysML v1.x and/or v2.0, and willingness to adopt next-generation agentic modeling tools. You excel at optimizing engineering workflows and processes, building automated workflows for requirements/model synchronization, traceability checks, document generation, and CI-driven verification. You can decompose complex systems with competing objectives (performance, schedule, openness, cybersecurity) into executable requirements and deliver against government expectations. Strong technical communication skills enable you to brief technical and company leadership and customers. You influence effectively across hardware, software, and firmware disciplines without formal authority. A strong engineering foundation in software engineering, hardware design, or FPGA development is required. You currently possess and can maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
