Salary: USD 100,000 - 120,000 / annual
BETA Technologies is revolutionizing electric aviation and seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join the IT support team. This role serves as the last point of escalation for identifying and resolving system issues across all company sites, with emphasis on outstanding customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administer cloud and on-premise environments, including Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Azure, Microsoft Domain Services)
- Manage Windows configuration and security via Microsoft Intune
- Support iOS configuration and security through Mobile Device Management platforms
- Administer Linux configuration and security via domain management and RMM tools
- Implement DNS, certificates, and encryption tasks
- Execute system changes aligned with governance frameworks such as CMMC
- Configure, monitor, and maintain backup and replication routines with comprehensive documentation and testing
- Organize and implement regular disaster recovery drills with procedure and documentation review
- Monitor systems and networking infrastructure using platforms like PagerDuty
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for all offices and employees
- Create and maintain IT documentation and training materials
- Collaborate closely with the Information Security team to remediate vulnerabilities and harden the environment

Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years managing information systems and networks
- Expert-level understanding of Microsoft 365 cloud offerings
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, and other scripting languages
- Expert-level knowledge of Conditional Access and Microsoft Cloud-native security tools
- Ability to administrate and implement Azure cloud services
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience managing on-premises backup solutions
- Experience with Fortinet firewalls and networking products
- Exposure to Splunk or other SIEM platforms
