Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join its Systems Engineering team supporting cutting-edge autonomous airpower systems. This role focuses on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Requirements-Based Testing to guide digital engineering strategy across advanced mission autonomy platforms. You will red-team designs, models, and analyses across programs; build simulations to validate or challenge engineering claims; and support Program Management, Mission Software Engineers, and Operations Analysts. A key responsibility is communicating complex technical results—including strong visual data presentation—to engineers, leadership, and stakeholders. Required qualifications include 8+ years of systems engineering experience across the full lifecycle, with hands-on expertise in MODSIM environments (AFSIM, JSE). You must have a B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science, or related engineering field, and currently hold an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance. Deep experience with requirements analysis and system design in government/DoD contexts is essential, including proficiency with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, and MBSE tools like Cameo MagicDraw. Strong background in aerospace, dynamics & controls, GNC, or systems engineering is required. Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience designing and building real engineering systems (not analysis-only), demonstrated ability to identify problems others miss (failure analysis, adversarial review, independent verification), proven track record of independently owning deliverables with minimal management oversight, and proficiency with physics-math scripting (MATLAB, Simulink, Python with numpy/scipy). This is a full-time position with competitive salary, equity grants, and comprehensive benefits.
