Salary: USD 140,000 - 165,000 / annual
Skydio is the leading US autonomous drone company, serving defense, public safety, and enterprise customers. As Senior Strategy and Planning Analyst, you will own the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales data to drive the annual sales planning process, increase sales productivity, and guide bookings growth.
You will develop and track key performance indicators across sales planning, compensation planning, and territory planning. Working with sales leadership, sales operations, and finance, you'll create standardized and custom reports from multiple business applications (Palantir Foundry, Salesforce, NetSuite, and others) to support quantitative product and sales analysis. Your insights will inform weekly, quarterly, and annual planning cadences.
Key responsibilities include: leading the annual sales and fiscal year planning function; assisting with territory planning and headcount planning; supporting incentive compensation planning; designing dashboards and reports; conducting complex analysis (regression, forecasting, probability modeling); and providing data-driven insights for quarterly business reviews and strategic planning.
You'll work cross-functionally across hardware operations, sales, finance, and other teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and build organizational understanding of business performance. You'll research business problems, create analytical models, and present findings to executives and stakeholders in a clear, organized manner.
Required: 5+ years in quantitative business analysis, forecasting, production planning, or finance/cost accounting. Strong systems integration experience with Palantir, Salesforce, NetSuite, and financial systems. Advanced analytical skills including regression, forecasting, and probability modeling. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to work independently and across functional teams. The company encourages FAA Part 107 drone certification within 60 days.
