Discord is seeking an experienced Senior Stock Plan Administrator to manage the day-to-day administration of the company's global equity programs. This role is central to ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely handling of all equity awards—from initial grants through vesting, exercises, RSU releases, and special projects. Key responsibilities include managing the complete lifecycle of equity transactions across Discord's global equity plans, including participant eligibility, enrollment, award processing, exercises, settlements, tax withholding, mobility reporting, expirations, cancellations, and terminations. You will process, validate, and reconcile equity transactions across equity administration platforms, payroll systems, and the general ledger to ensure data integrity and timely resolution of discrepancies. You'll partner closely with Legal, HR, Payroll, Tax, and Finance teams to administer equity programs and support processes that ensure accurate record-keeping, withholding, reporting, and reconciliation. A key aspect of the role involves maintaining complete and reliable participant mobility data by tracking work locations and reconciling records across payroll and HRIS systems. The position includes providing high-level service to employees and stakeholders on equity plan questions, designing and delivering educational sessions and communications about Discord's equity programs, and managing the quarterly calendar of stock administration activities. You will also prepare year-end tax information for IRC 6039 reporting and ensure SOX compliance across all equity plan aspects, including documentation, testing, and audit support. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Stock Administration and requires 5+ years of stock plan administration experience at both private and public companies, with demonstrated expertise in global equity plans and equity administration systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about equity compensation, and committed to helping employees understand their benefits.
