bunch is building the operating infrastructure for private markets, combining AI-powered automation with regulatory expertise to replace fragmented processes with an integrated platform. The company has 4x'd ARR in 2025, crossed 150 fund managers and 12,000 LPs, and closed a $35M Series B in May 2026. As Senior Product Manager for Accounting & Ledger, you will own the mission-critical products and workflows that form the financial system of record for funds on the platform. This includes the general ledger, chart of accounts, journals, trial balances, valuations, and automated close processes. You'll build the engine that transforms raw transactions and fund activity into a clean, auditable, real-time ledger—the foundation for fund performance and investor reporting. Key responsibilities include defining and driving the roadmap for the ledger and accounting platform; owning the General Ledger Engine (multi-entity, multi-currency); leading development of automated transaction ingestion and journal-entry workflows with integrations to external systems (DATEV, SaltEdge, Konfipay) and banking/custodian feeds; partnering with engineering on valuation logic and data foundations for NAV calculations; translating complex accounting requirements into product logic and audit trails; collaborating with operations, CFOs, and fund controllers to optimize close workflows and reconciliation; ensuring end-to-end data integrity from ingestion through reporting; partnering with Reporting & Fund Performance teams; defining and tracking success metrics; and staying current with fund accounting best practices and regulatory requirements. You bring 7+ years of product management experience in fintech, accounting/ledger, or financial data systems, with hands-on experience building or extensively working on ledger or accounting systems. You have deep working knowledge of double-entry accounting, chart of accounts design, journal posting logic, and financial close processes. You've proven ability to manage mission-critical, data-heavy product areas with strict accuracy and compliance requirements. You excel at translating financial complexity into intuitive software, communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and maintaining an analytical, data-driven mindset with obsession for precision and traceability. You're a strategic thinker with entrepreneurial drive, comfortable with ambiguity, and experienced in fast-growing startup environments. The role offers competitive salary, customizable benefits, 28 days vacation plus 2 company days and local holidays, remote-flexible hybrid (3 days/week in office) or fully remote depending on location, up to 4 remote calendar weeks annually, and a great tech setup. You'll work with a diverse team of 120+ from 40+ countries with best-in-class leaders.
