Salary: EUR 116,000 - 165,000 / annual
Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer Specialist to serve as a trusted technical advisor for the Cloudflare One product suite (SASE platform). You will partner with the sales team and engage directly with customers to architect and demonstrate how Cloudflare's security and performance solutions address their unique business needs.
In this role, you will guide prospects through complex technical evaluations and solution design phases, helping them understand how to adopt Cloudflare as a core component of their IT and security infrastructure. You'll be expected to stay at the forefront of AI-era security challenges, developing expertise in enterprise AI governance, Shadow AI visibility, data loss prevention for AI applications, and Agentic AI governance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, architecting optimal solutions using the Cloudflare One product suite
- Develop expertise in AI-era security challenges, including enterprise AI tool governance and data loss prevention
- Guide qualified prospects through solution design and proof-of-value stages
- Collaborate with sales partners to achieve pipeline generation and revenue goals
- Analyze customer IT landscapes and security requirements to develop robust architectures
- Articulate the benefits and technical differentiators of Cloudflare One against competitors
- Enhance customer retention by identifying and communicating product gaps to internal teams
- Partner with product teams as the voice of customers, sharing insights to shape the product roadmap
The role requires a blend of deep technical curiosity, strong communication skills, and genuine passion for helping customers transform their network and security architecture. You are expected to actively use AI tools in your day-to-day work for research, preparation, automation, and customer engagement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Technical Sales, Solutions Engineering, or Systems Engineering
- Active adoption and proficiency with AI tools in professional workflows; knowledge of AI security concepts relevant to enterprise customers (securing employee AI tool usage, governing AI application access, understanding data leakage risks from generative AI)
- Demonstrated experience presenting technical solutions and communicating network and security transformation value to senior executives
- Deep understanding of the modern cybersecurity landscape, including common threats (malware, ransomware, phishing, botnets) and mitigation strategies
- Fundamental knowledge of customer network and application architectures, including hybrid environments with public clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Solid grasp of SASE concepts and Zero Trust networking architectures
- Hands-on experience with one or more of: Secure Web Gateway (SWG), CASB, DLP, DNS security (DNS over HTTPS), Identity Provider integration (SAML, OTP), and SIEM/log analytics platforms
Desirable qualifications include: fluency in English (written and spoken), with Russian and/or Hebrew advantageous; proficiency with networking fundamentals (routing, subnetting, VPNs, SD-WAN); understanding of AI agentic architecture and security requirements at scale; familiarity with client OS fundamentals and software distribution; knowledge of competitive landscape for CDN, WAF, DDoS, and ZTNA solutions; direct experience with Cloudflare's Zero Trust solutions (Access, Gateway, Browser Isolation); strong project management skills.
