Salary: USD 146,000 - 195,000 / annual
Robinhood is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to join its Procurement and Vendor Management Office (VMO), the central team responsible for engaging and managing third-party vendors and partners across the company. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role focused on strategic sourcing and vendor management in the fintech space.
You will own end-to-end sourcing and contracting for an assigned portfolio of vendor categories, including market research, vendor identification, competitive bidding, negotiations, selection, and contract execution. You'll lead complex vendor negotiations to deliver quantifiable savings and reduced risk, partnering directly with senior business owners, commercial legal, and risk stakeholders to translate their needs into effective sourcing strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Execute sourcing and contracting strategy for assigned vendor categories and cost centers
- Lead negotiations on complex vendor contracts, delivering measurable savings and risk reduction
- Partner with business owners and senior stakeholders to maximize vendor value and procurement savings
- Collaborate with Commercial Legal, Tax, Finance, and Risk teams to drive risk-intelligent processes
- Maintain deep understanding of vendor markets and trends supporting Robinhood's core business
- Use metrics and data to identify category clusters and develop tailored sourcing strategies
- Leverage AI-powered automation and data analytics to accelerate work and quantify opportunities
- Optimize Robinhood's third-party vendor footprint and drive cost rationalization
The role is based in Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; or Chicago, IL, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. You'll work alongside world-class sourcing and contracting specialists in a collaborative, high-accountability environment where your expertise directly shapes how Robinhood spends and protects its resources.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, vendor and third-party contracting, procurement consulting, procurement program management, or process reengineering within Financial Services or FinTech
- Expert-level knowledge of contract negotiation dynamics, particularly in Cloud Services, Software, and Digital Marketing categories
- Ability to independently own and deliver complex sourcing initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Fluency with AI tools to speed up work; familiarity with data visualization and analysis tools; comfort using data to drive decisions
- Experience incorporating risk and performance management into sourcing and contracting processes
- Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, establish workflows, and meet deadlines independently
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams including Legal, Risk, Finance, and business stakeholders
