Wiz is a fast-growing cloud and AI security platform trusted by over 65% of the Fortune 100. The company recently became part of Google, combining its capabilities with Google's Threat Intelligence and Security Operations.
As a Senior Solutions Engineer based in Sydney (remote), you will support Wiz's growth and mid-enterprise customers, reporting to the Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering. You will partner directly with regional account executives to serve as a trusted technical advisor for cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your role bridges technical expertise and sales, helping customers understand and maximize value from the Wiz platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership and help meet quarterly sales targets
- Deliver presentations including whiteboards, product demonstrations, slides, and proof-of-value outcomes to customers and prospects
- Help customers plan in-depth test plans and proof-of-value engagements in their environments
- Continuously learn new product features, industry developments, and expand your technical skillset
- Represent Wiz at technical forums, trade shows, meetups, and industry events
- Travel up to 40% as needed
You will work in a creative technical role, assisting partners to build a technical business delivery model and delivering world-class demonstrations and training to channel customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications:
- Experience in a sales engineering role delivering solutions to C-level executives at strategic customers
- Cloud security experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Network engineering experience
- Strong operating system, virtual machine, and container knowledge
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with traditional CSPM tools
- SaaS experience
- Awareness of CI/CD processes
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
- Ability to deliver world-class demonstrations and training to channel customers
- Mastered the technical sales process
- Knowledge of risk-based security assessments and frameworks
- Understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates, and keys
