As a Senior Solutions Engineer based in Sydney, you will support growth and mid-enterprise customers, reporting to the Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering. You will be the trusted technical advisor for cloud security matters across AWS, Azure, and GCP, partnering directly with regional account executives to transform how customers approach cloud security.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership and help meet quarterly sales targets
- Deliver presentations including whiteboards, product demonstrations, slides, and proof-of-value outcomes
- Help customers and prospects plan in-depth test plans to demonstrate Wiz platform value in their environments
- Stay current with new product features, industry developments, and expand your technical skillset
- Represent Wiz at technical forums, trade shows, meetups, and industry events
- Travel up to 40% as needed
You will work in a creative technical role assisting partners to build a technical business delivery model, with emphasis on delivering world-class demonstrations and training to channel customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications:
- Experience in a sales engineering role delivering solutions to C-level executives at strategic customers
- Cloud security experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Network engineering experience
- Strong operating system, virtual machine, and container knowledge
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with traditional CSPM tools
- SaaS experience
- Awareness of CI/CD processes
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
- Technical sales process expertise
- Knowledge of risk-based security assessments and frameworks
- Understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates, and keys
