As a Senior Solutions Engineer in London, you will be a key technical resource supporting the sales organization in closing complex enterprise deals. You'll work hybrid (1-2 days per week in the London office) partnering closely with sales executives to navigate strategic opportunities from initial discovery through close.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with sales teams to plan and execute on strategic deals and complex sales cycles
- Manage all technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses and proof-of-concept delivery
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that communicate value clearly to senior buyers
- Translate customer pain points and requirements into tailored solution recommendations
- Support the sales team with solution selling and account expansion into the existing customer base
- Collect and document competitive intelligence to inform strategy
- Build financial business cases for sales opportunities
- Streamline communication processes to increase sales efficiency and shorten sales cycles
- Communicate customer feedback and requirements to R&D teams for product enhancements
You bring 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer, ideally in SaaS. You have a solid technical background with hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. You're comfortable with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.) and have a proven track record building proof of concepts and selling complex enterprise solutions. You excel at forging strong relationships with senior executives, explaining technical concepts in accessible ways, and delivering polished presentations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
