Hinge Health is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join its IT & Security team and build the reliable, secure, and scalable technology foundation enabling the company's growth. This hands-on, cross-functional role sits at the intersection of IT administration, infrastructure engineering, automation, and technical support. You will own and improve systems across the corporate technology environment—endpoint management, networking, identity, cloud platforms, and internal AI-enabled workflows. You'll be equally comfortable troubleshooting network issues, automating device enrollment, designing secure access patterns for enterprise data, and guiding thoughtful technology decisions. In your first three months, you'll build context on Hinge Health's IT environment (endpoints, Jamf, networking, identity, SaaS platforms) and establish relationships across IT, Security Operations, IT Risk, SRE, Engineering, and AI Enablement. You'll take ownership of complex technical escalations using structured troubleshooting and documenting root causes. Within six months, you'll improve reliability and consistency of endpoint provisioning, configuration management, and access workflows through automation and self-service. You'll maintain and optimize Jamf across a multi-OS environment with primary focus on macOS, administer corporate networking including enterprise wireless and zero-trust network access, and help implement secure integrations for internal AI tools. By year one, you'll lead meaningful improvements to corporate IT infrastructure reliability, security, and scalability—including technology refreshes, office buildouts, and infrastructure migrations. You'll evaluate and operationalize emerging AI capabilities with sound judgment around security, governance, and reliability, and raise team effectiveness through documentation, runbooks, and mentoring. You are an owner-operator who takes responsibility for systems throughout their lifecycle. You communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners, stay curious about new technologies, and bring bias toward action and accountability. You lead by sharing knowledge and making systems easier for others to support. Required: 5+ years in IT administration, systems engineering, or comparable infrastructure role supporting multi-OS environments with strong macOS experience. Demonstrated experience owning endpoint management (Jamf or comparable MDM), enterprise networking, identity/SaaS administration, and automating IT operations through scripting (Bash, Python) or infrastructure-as-code. Preferred: Okta, Google Workspace, SSO, SCIM, identity-aware access patterns; experience supporting internal AI tools (LLMs, RAG, MCP); designing controls for AI systems; cloud/AWS experience; security operations tooling (SIEM, EDR, CrowdStrike, Netskope); healthcare compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2); supporting distributed teams; Windows/Linux/Ubuntu administration.
