F5 is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their sales organization in London. This is a hybrid role combining technical expertise with sales support, requiring approximately 50% customer-facing time (remote or in-person meetings).
You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise accounts and new business opportunities, working in partnership with Account Managers. Your responsibilities include:
• Articulating F5's product strategy, messaging, and value proposition aligned with customer business objectives
• Delivering technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, proof-of-concepts, and demonstrations via in-person, virtual, or whiteboard sessions
• Assessing opportunity viability and mapping organizational structures to identify technical decision-makers
• Driving the sales process by securing technical validation, support, and sponsorship from key stakeholders
• Providing world-class customer service throughout the customer lifecycle
• Collaborating with internal technical and sales teams to share best practices and expertise
You will leverage deep knowledge across multiple technical domains: data centers, virtualization, cloud computing, service provider mobile network architectures (3GPP protocols), IP/MPLS infrastructure, SD-WAN technologies, DevOps/CI-CD tools, container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift), and network/application security (L3-L7). RFx process experience and familiarity with F5 or similar enterprise solutions are valuable.

Requirements:
• 6+ years of related industry experience
• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
• Fluent verbal and written English
• Familiarity with data centers, virtualization, cloud computing, and service provider architectures
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, SCM tools, and container orchestration
• Understanding of network and application security (L3-L7)
• Experience with RFx processes
• Familiarity or experience with F5 technology or similar solutions (preferred)
• Relevant certifications (preferred)
