Metriport is building the infrastructure layer for US healthcare by solving medical data exchange—one of the biggest unsolved problems in the healthcare system. The company connects to thousands of legacy data sources, transforms raw unusable data into clean, standardized formats, and delivers the full patient picture to care teams in seconds instead of weeks. Founded by YC alumni and backed by top-tier VCs (Matrix, ARTIS, Y Combinator) with $28.4M raised, Metriport has achieved product-market fit with multi-million dollar ARR and 100+ customers including Amazon One Medical, Circle Medical, Color Health, and Strive Health.
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be the primary technical point of contact for customers throughout their partnership lifecycle. Your responsibilities include conducting discovery calls to understand customer use cases and technical requirements, participating in weekly syncs with onboarded customers to ensure they derive value and successfully integrate Metriport into their workflows, maintaining ongoing customer relationships through regular check-ins and support, and providing technical expertise on product capabilities, integrations, and implementation. You will troubleshoot and debug customer issues, sometimes coordinating with the engineering team for resolution, manage customer requests by assessing priority and tracking progress, and proactively communicate relevant product updates and new features aligned with customer needs. You'll also participate in bi-weekly sprint planning and quarterly planning sessions, manage APIs and integrations for seamless customer functionality, and work with customers from onboarding through production rollout. A daily 30-minute remote standup occurs at 7:30am PST Monday-Friday.
Metriport operates as a small, high-output team of mostly former founders with real autonomy and minimal bureaucracy. The company hires on competence, not pedigree, and leadership is in the office six days a week with an expectation that the team be available similarly—not to count hours, but because there's always more to accomplish when revolutionizing healthcare delivery. The company trusts team members to take needed time off and has never declined a time-off request.
