Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to drive complex customer engagements and support large deal closures. You will partner directly with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, design winning strategies for sales cycles, deliver compelling value-based demonstrations, and support enterprise proof-of-concepts. In this role, you will present Snowflake's technology and vision to C-suite executives and technical teams at prospects and customers. You'll work hands-on throughout the sales cycle—from initial demo through proof of concept to design and implementation—demonstrating and communicating the value of Snowflake's cloud data platform. You will maintain deep expertise in the competitive landscape, understanding how Snowflake positions against complementary technologies and vendors. Collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing will be key to continuously improving products and go-to-market strategies. You bring 7–8 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in pre-sales. You are an outstanding presenter to both technical and executive audiences, equally comfortable improvising on a whiteboard or delivering polished presentations and demos. You have broad hands-on expertise in large-scale database and data warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud platforms (Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric). You are proficient in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python, and can connect customer business problems to Snowflake's solutions through deep discovery of their architecture frameworks. You bring proactive curiosity about the AI landscape and can serve as a visionary technical thought partner for customers navigating emerging capabilities. You have demonstrated ability to leverage AI code generation tools to accelerate productivity. A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field is preferred; an advanced degree in Data Science or Business Administration is a plus. Experience with global systems integrators (EY, Deloitte, Accenture) is beneficial but not required. Snowflake's Solution Engineering team is customer-obsessed, values learning and feedback, and is passionate about making clients successful. The team works to ensure data is accessible, usable, and valuable to everyone.
