Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer based in Bangalore to help enterprise customers across India transform complex data and AI priorities into measurable business outcomes. You will combine deep technical expertise, consultative discovery, and executive communication to architect secure, scalable solutions on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.
In this role, you will lead technical discovery sessions with customers and translate their business priorities into cloud-native architectures. You'll design and demonstrate solutions leveraging Snowflake's capabilities including Cortex AI, Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, Streamlit in Snowflake, and secure data sharing. You will build proofs of concept that validate performance, governance, interoperability, and business value for high-priority customer workloads.
You'll advise customers on modernizing their data platforms and migrating analytical workloads to Snowflake while reducing complexity and operational overhead. Partnering with Account Executives, Product Management, Professional Services, and Snowflake partners, you'll develop account strategies and remove technical barriers to adoption. You'll guide customer stakeholders on security, governance, privacy, and responsible AI patterns using Snowflake Horizon and related platform controls.
A key part of your impact will be influencing technical and executive decision makers through clear architecture narratives, workshops, demonstrations, and value-focused presentations. You'll also mentor Solutions Engineering peers and contribute reusable field assets, reference architectures, and product feedback that improve execution across the region.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 12+ years of relevant experience in solutions engineering, data architecture, cloud platforms, analytics, or equivalent customer-facing technical role
- Strong foundation in data warehousing, data engineering, analytics, cloud architecture, and enterprise security
- Demonstrated experience leading technical discovery and designing solutions for complex enterprise requirements
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to engineers, architects, business leaders, and executives
- Hands-on proficiency with SQL and at least one major cloud platform as supporting capabilities for solution design and validation
- Record of influencing customer decisions through consultative problem solving, demonstrations, and proofs of concept
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to lead across sales, product, services, partners, and customer teams without direct authority
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Snowflake, Cortex AI, Snowpark, Streamlit in Snowflake, or native application development
- Familiarity with GenAI architectures, retrieval-augmented generation, model governance, and AI-assisted solution engineering workflows
- Experience supporting data platform modernization or migration programs in large enterprises
- Knowledge of data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory considerations relevant to customers in India
- Experience mentoring technical presales professionals or leading cross-account technical initiatives
