Shippeo is a European SaaS company transforming supply chain visibility with real-time multimodal transportation data and predictive AI. As a Senior Solution Consultant based in Chicago, you will be a central figure in the Americas go-to-market organization, helping enterprise customers understand how Shippeo addresses their transportation visibility challenges and delivers measurable business value.
You will work closely with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to lead discovery workshops, solution design, value articulation, and product demonstrations throughout complex sales cycles. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will translate customer supply chain processes, operational priorities, and technology environments into practical, deliverable Shippeo solutions. The role supports customers across the Americas with opportunities to collaborate on international opportunities with colleagues in Europe and Asia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading strategic discovery workshops to uncover customer business drivers, supply chain priorities, and operational requirements
- Applying Shippeo's Visibility Engineering methodology to translate complex processes into clear solution designs, including platform capabilities, integrations, data flows, and workflow adoption plans
- Delivering compelling, tailored product demonstrations and quantifying business outcomes such as operational efficiencies, predictive ETA accuracy, and cost savings to operational and executive stakeholders
- Creating high-quality presales deliverables including technical proposals, proof-of-value plans, SOWs, and RFP responses
- Leading proof-of-concept and proof-of-value initiatives, managing technical dependencies and ensuring prospective clients see clear operational value
- Collaborating with Product, Professional Services, Customer Experience, and Engineering teams to validate solution feasibility and ensure seamless post-sale handover
- Contributing to global Solution Consulting playbooks, sales collateral, and demo environments while sharing market insights
The role is based in Chicago and operates on a hybrid model requiring three days per week in the office. Frequent domestic and international travel may be required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in solution consulting, presales, management consulting, or enterprise SaaS, with direct exposure to supply chain, logistics, or transportation technologies
- Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS architectures, data integration, and how digital logistics solutions drive value within complex global supply chain environments
- Proven ability to break down complex operational challenges, present tailored software solutions, and establish trust with both technical teams and executive leadership
- Highly autonomous and self-directed, with a track record of thriving in fast-paced, international environments while collaborating cross-functionally across remote teams
- Professional fluency in English (written and spoken)
PREFERRED:
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Japanese
- Potential and interest in taking on leadership responsibilities as the Americas Solution Consulting team grows
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
